• Infotainment: You’ll receive Pivi Pro™ no matter which model you choose. However, the Discovery has a larger touchscreen at 11.4 inches vs. 10 inches for the Discovery Sport. The Discovery also includes standard wireless device charging, and that costs extra on the Discovery Sport as an upgrade.
• Safety Tech: Both models include a wide range of advanced safety features that keep your family secure on any drive. But only the Discovery includes a 3D Surround Camera as a standard feature. This technology is optional in the Discovery Sport.

• Towing Capacity: If you plan on doing a lot of heavy towing, such as a boat, camper, or cargo trailer, you might be happier with the Discovery. It can tow up to 8,200 pounds. The Discovery Sport, on the other hand, can tow roughly half, up to 4,409 pounds, of its big brother’s capabilities.
• Engine Performance: The Discovery comes standard with a 296-hp turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The Discovery Sport also has a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, but this option delivers just 246 hp. Moreover, the Discovery offers a 355-hp i6 as an upgrade for even better performance.

Fuel economy has not yet been determined for the 2023 Discovery or the 2023 Discovery Sport. But you should expect the Discovery Sport to be more fuel-efficient because it’s smaller and doesn’t have as much power. But, the Discovery fuel tank can hold about six more gallons of fuel. You’ll need fewer stops at the gas station with the larger SUV.
